All the Russian Universities can now work with the Educational Platform Coursera

28 September, Moscow - Examus becomes Coursera’s official partner, now every Russian educational institution can access the online learning platform’s offerings.

Previously to get access to Coursera’s offerings, the Russian educational institutions were required to pay for the platform’s products in foreign currency, which was an essential issue for the State Institutions, particularly on the stage of the preparation and signing up the closing documents. In addition, the volume of needed educational content was often smaller than the minimum one that the user was required to acquire from Coursera. These barriers prevented many Russian institutions from accessing the platform. With the new partnership, all the educational institutions can buy licenses for Coursera courses in needed volume and embed them into the curriculum.

“Examus is well-known in the high educational market as a company that provides online proctoring services - the monitoring of exams passing. The new product CourseTrust will help the National educational institutions increase the number of students, who study by an individual plan, to execute the indexes of online courses and other KPI. In particular, it will help to determine the most suitable courses for the concrete syllabuses,” - commented Dmitry Istomin, the director of Examus.
Meanwhile, the emergence of a Coursera distributor in Russia will spread the educational courses of the Platform in our country and also offer services to educational institutions that increase the efficiency of online education. For example, the benefits of preventing plagiarism during exams extended course support and help in the organization of project education and detailed analytics of the educational results.

“We are excited to partner with Examus to expand our footprint in Russia. Now many more Russian educational institutions can have easy access to our platform and integrate learning content from some of the best universities and companies into their educational curriculums”, according to Anthony Tattersall, Vice President of EMEA for Coursera.
Today Coursera collaborates with more than 200 leading universities and companies around the world, with many in Russia. The platform aims to provide flexible, accessible, and job-relevant online education to individuals and organizations worldwide. The online platform offers a wide spectrum of educational offerings, from hands-on projects to courses to certificates to bachelor's and master’s degrees.

Eighty-two million learners, hundreds of companies, and more than 6,000 campuses and governments use Coursera. This agreement will allow the expansion of Coursera in the Russian market.
