‘Examus’ Updates in October 2020

1. Updated microphone and dual screen tests; enabling and disabling of checks in the Web App configuration:

We made more accurate detection of the included microphone and connected displays and specified them as a separate parameter. That is, the customer determines whether a student can be admitted to the exam if his/her microphone is disabled and/or a second display is connected.

2. Hiding the sidebar with a timeout:

We added a timeout parameter to the Examus panel to automatically hide the panel on the student’s display during the exam. Of course, the examinee does not need to use this parameter, and the panel will not be hidden as it was before.

3. AI improvements - new voice detector in Web App (release):

We have improved the voice detector, which reduced by 34% the appearance of false positive messages about conversations during the exam.
